- About Calculation Methods and Results
- If you are under the influence of alcohol and cannot walk in a straight line, that constitutes drunk driving.
- This calculation assumes that the specified amount of alcohol was consumed over a period of about 30 minutes.
- The body’s ability to metabolize alcohol varies greatly from person to person.
- Driving with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.15 mg per liter of breath or 0.3 mg per milliliter of blood or higher constitutes driving under the influence.
- Even a single can of beer can easily exceed the limit. “Don’t drive after drinking.”
- Blood Alcohol Concentration (%) = (Amount of Alcohol Consumed (ml) × Alcohol Content (%)) / (833 × Body Weight (kg))
