Age Calculation (Calculating the Number of Years)
We use the fact that the age difference does not change over time to calculate the number of years or age.

When the parent’s age becomes the child’s age:
(1) Child’s age = Age difference between parent and child ÷ (n - 1)
(2) Parent’s age = Child’s age × n
(3) Number of years = Parent’s age − Parent’s current age

(2) Parent’s age = Child’s age × n
(3) Number of years = Parent’s age − Parent’s current age
