Splitting the Taxi Fare
This tool calculates the split fare for a shared taxi ride. You can calculate the fare for each segment separately.
Fares for each segment are calculated by dividing the segment fare by the number of passengers on that segment.
Fractions are rounded up to the nearest 10 yen. The total is adjusted based on the payment made by the last passenger.
1) The number of passengers refers to the number of people riding on that segment. (It does not refer to the number of people who got off.)
2) For carpool routes, it is assumed that passengers get off in order of proximity to their destination.
