Conversion of Hemoglobin A1c Values
This tool converts between JDS values (Japan) and NGSP values (international standard), which are HbA1c measurements used in the management of diabetes.
In daily clinical practice, starting on April 1, Heisei 24, HbA1c values will be expressed as NGSP values, and for the time being, JDS values will also be listed alongside them.
For designated health checkups and health guidance, JDS values will continue to be used as before until March 31, Heisei 25; the policy thereafter is currently under review.
