Calculating Soccer Standings

Rankings are determined based on the following criteria.
(1) Teams are ranked in order of the highest number of points.
(2) If teams are tied on points, they are ranked based on goal difference (goals scored minus goals conceded).
(3) If goal difference is also tied, the team with the higher number of goals scored is ranked higher.
