Your destiny number is the sum of the digits of your date of birth. You keep adding the digits until you get a single-digit number, but in rare cases, some people end up with a repeating number (like 33) before reaching a single digit—and apparently, those people are said to have a wonderful destiny (?)
Destiny Number:
1: Talented and lucky, but soft-hearted and timid
2: Intelligent and intuitive, but short-tempered and doesn’t like being told what to do
3: Caring and artistic, but prone to bottling up stress
4: Hardworking and a natural leader, but aloof and lacking in warmth
5: Goes at their own pace and values stability, but is clueless in romance
6: A people-pleaser who is deeply affectionate, but won’t tolerate betrayal
7: A cheerful, energetic person, but is sensitive and easily hurt
8: Strong-willed with good financial luck, but tends to think in extremes
9: Has a great memory and is a natural genius, but gets lonely easily and is the most likely to cheat
11 Blessed with good luck
22 Leadership qualities
33 Charisma
44 This is quite rare

I created a custom formula on Casio’s high-precision calculation site, keisan.casio.jp, for calculating the “Destiny Number” (from the “Yarisuigi Cozy” urban legend).
I tried calculating the distribution of destiny numbers (for people born between 1900 and 2015)
If you separate the digits of a date of birth and add them up (one step before calculating the "destiny number"), you get an incredibly neat normal distribution (an application of the Central Limit Theorem).
What is the Barnum effect?
