Explanation: If you simply add the fee calculated based on the amount to be received and make the transfer, the recipient will actually end up paying a fee on top of the fee.
Example: Suppose you want to transfer 10,000 yen to someone in a domestic transaction
→ 10,000 * 0.036 + 40 = 400 → If you transfer 10,400 yen, the fee will be 414 yen, and the recipient will receive 9,986 yen—not the intended 10,000 yen.
By using this calculation, you can pay the recipient the desired amount after the fee has been deducted.

*June 7, 2021: Following a bug report, we investigated and found that the “Small-Amount Fee Calculation” appears to apply only to those who have applied for it.
Therefore, to allow the standard fee calculation to be applied even for small amounts, we added the “Apply Fee Calculation” option and adjusted the settings so users can choose between the standard fee calculation and the small-amount payment fee calculation.

Standard rates: Set at 3.6% + 40 yen per transaction for domestic transactions and 4.1% + 40 yen per transaction for international transactions.
*When the small-amount transaction fee applies: 2,357 yen or less for domestic transactions (5% + 7 yen per transaction) and 1,736 yen or less for international transactions (6% + 7 yen per transaction).
