■■ In this example, the calculator determines the height and width (in cm) of a 42-inch 4K monitor and calculates how many times larger the text on the 42-inch 4K monitor appears compared to text displayed on a 23-inch Full HD monitor with a 16:9 aspect ratio.
■■ If you simply want to know the monitor’s width and height, using only the first line will work the same as “Monitor Dimensions.”
* Note: For text size calculations, please leave the calculation method set to 2.
Do not change the dpi setting, as it has no meaning in the current calculation.
・Calculation methods 0–1 use dpi to output some values, but since I don’t remember what I was thinking a year ago, I cannot guarantee their functionality.
・If you understand what the 0–1 calculations are doing, please leave a comment.

■■ Calculation Method
・After calculating the diagonal length based on 1 inch = 2.54 cm, use the Pythagorean theorem to calculate the vertical and horizontal dimensions relative to the diagonal.
・The “Character Size Comparison” (Method 2) is calculated using the formula: (Target Monitor Height / Reference Monitor Height) * (Reference Monitor px / Target Monitor px).

・Displays the width and height of a monitor based on its size (e.g., 42 inches) and aspect ratio (e.g., 16:9).
・It also shows the difference in text size between the specified monitor (assumed to be the one you plan to purchase) and the reference monitor (assumed to be your current monitor) when using the recommended display settings.
・Additionally, it displays common monitor sizes with the same aspect ratio and their corresponding dimensions.
