I. eGFR Using s-Cr in Japanese Children (Ages 2–18)
By multiplying the eGFR calculated using s-Cr for children aged 2 years and older by the following coefficient, it is possible to calculate the eGFR using s-Cr for infants aged 3 months or older but under 2 years. The coefficient R is as follows. However, unlike other estimation formulas, this coefficient has not been validated.
R = 0.107 × ln (age (months)) + 0.656
