In margin trading, use mutual funds as margin (equal to 80% of their market value). Calculate the amount needed to purchase additional shares when the market value increases.
This calculation assumes that mutual funds are used as collateral for margin trading in mutual funds. It calculates the amount of additional purchases needed to ensure that even if both the collateral mutual funds and the margin-traded mutual funds experience a 70% drawdown simultaneously, a margin call (maintenance margin ratio of 20%) will not be triggered.
| Amount of Additional Purchase | × 10,000 yen |
| Guaranteed Product Appraised Value (70% Off) | × 10,000 yen |
| Unrealized loss (70% drawdown) | × 10,000 yen |
| Margin (70% drawdown) | × 10,000 yen |
| Open Positions (after adding to the position) | × 10,000 yen |
| Retention Rate (After Additional Purchases) | % |
