■■ Display Explanation
・The first line of the results confirms the input values. In the list, red indicates input values, green indicates fixed input values for reference, and blue indicates calculated values.
■■ Calculation Method
・After calculating the vertical length from the aspect ratio, the diagonal length relative to the vertical and horizontal dimensions is calculated using the Pythagorean theorem, assuming 1 inch = 2.54 cm.
・Using 15 cm for a paperback book and 29.7 cm for A4 portrait orientation, the calculator determines how many times the monitor’s height is relative to these values.
■■ Other Notes
Your comments are encouraging. I’d be happy if you left one.
I may update the calculator if I see any requests (I’ve added a comparison here based on the “area” of both the vertical and horizontal dimensions).

・Based on the width (40 cm), aspect ratio (e.g., 16:9), and bezel width (the frame around the monitor), it displays the monitor size (e.g., 42 inches), the monitor’s height, and whether a paperback book or an A4 sheet will fit vertically.
・This tool is intended for the following scenarios:
→ You want to know the size of a monitor that will fit in the space on your desk after measuring it.
→ You want to know the size of a tablet that will fit inside your favorite pouch.
→ You also want to know if that monitor can display A4 PDFs or paperback books in full size.
