Calculates the amount of muscle you can gain annually based on your body weight. (Alan Aragon model)
| Amount of muscle that can be gained in a year | ~ kg |
| Amount of muscle you can gain per month | ~ g |
| Amount of muscle you can gain per week | ~ g |
| So, my weight one year from now, having gained only muscle mass, will be | ~ convert to kg |
| The number of calories to increase per day to build muscle is | ~ kcal |
In this calculation,
Beginner → Someone who has been doing strength training for 1 year or less
Intermediate → Someone who has been doing strength training for 2–3 years
Advanced → Someone who has been doing strength training for 4 years or more
are defined as such.
These figures are based on the number of years of consistent, proper strength training and nutrition management; if you’ve been taking it easy, your muscle growth will be correspondingly slower.
Generally speaking, it’s rare for people to consistently manage their training and nutrition on their own, so it’s best to estimate your actual gains as slightly lower than the calculated results.
